Re:Free Dating Sites And Dating Sites

Hi there,
well i have tried numerous of dating websites..All different ones that you can think...
I found that free dating websites are ok but i came to realise that the only guys/girls that use this are either tight with money because they dont want to pay for a dating site or they want a one night stand.
Then again i found a dating website where before i paid i got a chance to test it out (but could not read my messeges)

Would you mind telling us what dating sites you actually used? I am always trying to hear from actual people what dating sites they think are the best and it seems like you have a good amount of experience, at least with a few of them. What did you like about those sites and what did you dislike?

dating scams

I would say that no site is totally free of girls that are generically called scammers, although I have an issue with that term, in fact many girls that are labelled as scammer have distinct and different aims. There are several distinct groups

Financial scammer: this is the one that most guys are aware of, the profile that will send you pictures of some stunning girl and then after a few emails give you some delightful story concocted to encourage you to send them money, be it for Visa's, Flights, Sick parent, aunt, dog or pet gerbil..

Serial Dater: These girls are just interested in getting "rich" but dumb European/American men to come and visit them, buy nice gifts and pay for meals/nights out at places they cannot usually afford.

Letter writer: These girls are only really interested in Internet relationships where you pay to write letters, a number of the well known dating sites are full of these girls, they will write endless letters to you and either avoid meeting up with you or if they do meet up will avoid attempts at forming a relationship.. Common lines, like "I don't know how to kiss".. "I am a good girl and cannot stay with you".. "I don't believe in being intimate before marriage".. yes real lines said by girls on these sites, the last ones said by girls unmarried girls with kids!

The curious: These girls are just curious what the site is about, they have heard of stories from friends or media where other girls have met nice men online, they are typically not really looking for someone but just curious to see who joins these types of sites, but these girls also get labelled as scammers as they are not genuinely looking.

Personally I don't agree with categorising all these different types of girls as scammers. It is perfectly possible for a girl that is a serial letter writer to get an email from a guy that really sparks her interest and she goes from being a serial letter writer earning herself a few extra $$ each month into a genuine girl that has found love.

I know quite a few guys that have found girls on DM, Anastasia and AFA and been really happy with those girls and seem to be having fairly successful relationships. So to label all the girls on these sites as fakes or scammers is wrong. I would be the last one to defend these sites either, as there are a large percentage of girls that fall into the above category's on there.

Common claims from various dating sites are that " We do not pay our girls to chat" which is kind of true, they do not directly pay the girls, but they do pay the local agencies and then the local agency who wants to maximise their profit will often pay the girls to "chat"

The other claim from these sites is we cannot give you the girls direct contact details because of IMBRA, But they will sell you the girls details if you spent X $$$$ with that site.. I suggest you actually read the IMBRA act and decide for yourself how relevant it actually is to a lot of the claims made on some of the popular sites.

There are many other ways these sites use to extract more money out of you, but they are a business and you do not go into business to provide a free service, at some stage you have to cover your costs and hopefully make a profit.

So what are the good sites you can trust? well I have been travelling throughout Russia, Ukraine and Eastern Europe in general for 15 years and met lots of guys on Romance tours or holidays and they will all complain about just about every dating site out there. So what are the good sites? well sorry to disappoint they are all as bad as one another, with 25% or less of the girls they have listed genuinely looking to meet someone, having said that it does not mean you cannot be successful in finding the most amazing girl for you, just keep a firm grip on reality, you wont be able to write two letters pay $20 and find Miss Perfect in one night. It is going to take a LOT of effort, time and to a fair extent resources to find her, you may end up writing to hundreds of girls before you find one that you think is right for you. But is that any different to life in general? how many girls have you chatted too since you started high school? how many dates? were all of them genuinely looking for someone? So why should internet dating be any different?

I have a couple comments

Thank you for your posting this outline, its definitely accurate for the most part. I am wondering though why you would say you are annoyed that people just generalize about "scammers," but then you say you personally don't agree with categorizing them. Just wondering why you would do it if you don't agree with it I guess.

Next, I agree with you that no matter what agency or whatever you go to, there will be girls who do not have any good intentions and are out to use you in one way or another.

I would say the best way to approach the whole international dating thing is to go with a tour so that you don't screw yourself trying to plan a trip on your own. A lot of those reputable sites offer tours both group and single so that you can go over there and meet a bunch of different women without having to worry about planning your trip and not spending too much money. If you're serious you should check out a site with tours.

Foreign dating scam sites revealed!

Subj: translators story about foreign dating site scamming...an insiders look.
written by Estefano L. , (English is his second language)
It is not only Amolatina and AsianBeauties.com, but almost every DATING SITE is designed to cheat men out of their money. I worked as a translator in one of these sites, and I CAN TELL you it is a fraud:
Hundreds of men (maybe thousands) of United States of America, Canada and Europe are being fooled by hundreds of girls of Russia, Ukraine and Latin America, through the “DATING SITES” (AGENCIAS DE MATRIMONIO,... in Spanish).
Day after day, the number of tricked men increases, not-withstanding the warning of other men who know what is really happening in these sites. This denounce I am constructing is meant to be a warning against such a trick. Read it carefully and collaborate with me in this denounce. The more persons you warn against that trick, the better. I want this warning to snowball so much as to frustrate it.
Are you a fool? Why do you pay for a service which is nothing but a FRAUD? They offer the “opportunity to know beautiful girls through ON-LINE MEETING”, but what do you get for your money? You think that you are chatting to a girl, where the one who is actually typing is a man or an old woman (named translator). This “translator” has been trained to fool you, that you spend your money in chatting, that you spend your money in “GIFTS”. The “DATING SITE” swears to be “ANTI-FRAUD PROOF”, but they are constraining their girls to sign and video a written declaration that they get no pay for their photos being catalogued or their images being used in WEB CAM, which declaration is delusive.

These “Dating sites” are named differently Russianlovematch, Hotrussianbrides, Amolatina, a foreign affair, Anastasia, etc. and have in common that more than 90% of their girls are apparently “beautiful and young”, as if they were “call girls” instead of “marriageable women”, Ukrainian and Latin American women who do not care if you are 90 years old, or if you are ugly, because their secret interest is fooling you into spending money in chatting and gifting them. These agencies induce slyly these girls, who are in want of one job, to partake in this trick. They are teamed up with bilingual persons, euphemized as “translators”. The translator (either male or female) is confided the task of beguiling men with a chat of coquetry while the young woman is supposed only to smile at the video camera. The more time the tricked men are in chat, the better. The more men the “translator” wiles concurrently, the better. Both woman and translator get a vague commission for it. The amount of this commission is unknown, but, for sure, risible, and this is maybe the worst. I worked in one of these agencies (in Medellin, Colombia), for almost one year (August-June, 2008-2009), and I know certainly that here girls worked without a covenant with their “managers” about this commission. They simply get one pay every 15 days for chat, which is rather capricious or arbitrary, and one commission for gifts.

I will mention, as an example, the Sandgom’s case, the woman I teamed with for six months (from January to June of 2009). Her nickname was Sandgom. The Sandgom’s average was about 10 men daily. Every message in chat costs less than one dollar. The average of messages every man transmitted was about 100 in our 8 hours shift, which may amount to about $ 80. So, ten men chatting with us might have become an 800 dollars gain for the owner (or owners) of the “Dating Site” every day. How much of this gain was given to Sandgom? 15 dollars only, as an average. Not-twithstanding, there were days in which she was told she had made nothing but 3 dollars in her 8 hour shift.

As for the gifts, when one man orders flowers (or other false “gifts”, as candies, English lessons, and jewellery) for one woman, this one does not get the flowers but one little commission for them (about 10%).

Of course, there are many lawsuits against the “Dating Sites”. How are they preventing themselves to be convicted? They force their ladies to sign and video a written declaration that they are in their respective agencies, neither for money nor for gifts, but for their wanting one husband, which declaration is completely false, except for a few women. Women who are reluctant to sign such declarations are threatened to be unpaid for their chats.
Dating chats are as lucrative as sex chats are. The difference is, beside the unreality of women being nakedly exhibited, that men in sex chats know it is a mere erotic play, whereas men in dating sites do not know that most of women are dissembling with them.

“Translators” personate their teamers (the girls) mainly when camera is off. When one woman is not able to come to the “office”, the translator makes men to believe that they are chatting with her. There are cases, even, in which translators personate women who are not “working” for their agencies, women who, for whatever reason, have consented to the institution of their “profiles” and neglected to demand the removal of these ones. In December of 2008, I was told by the owner of the agency to log-in to chat under the nicknames of some of these women. They did not know that we were personating them.
