Here is Anastasia's solution to the bad reputation and law suites.

Same scam different name.

what a stupid post about great site fiance.com
fiance.com is not related to anastasia anyhow. fiance.com is eleview's web site and it is an update of long existed dating-ru.com. fiance.com has a great men's forum. read about the site advantages there. fiance.com is one of the best international dating site. it has a unique system to avoid scams.

Fiance.com is OK . . .
Anastasiaweb.com and Fiance.com are operated by two different companies. However I would not say that the two sites do not have a relationship with each other since Fiance.com does promote Anastasiaweb.com's Romance Tours. You can see by the domain name registration information (listed below) that each site is operated by a different company and owner.
It is possible however that the same lady can be listed on both Fiance.com and Anastasiaweb.com so some overlap of profiles may exist. This may be what prompted Joe's claim in the first place. In my opinion, if you find a profile listed on several different sites then I would take caution with that particular lady as she may be promoted by her agency or herself for less than sincere motives. This is not to say she is automatically a scammer, I just advise taking caution.
For example the same lady is profiled on both sites:
Notice however on Fiance.com that they have a profile attribute "Is this girl independent?" In this particular case the answer is No. I give credit to for disclosing this information in an upfront manner since this could be an indication of something less than desirable.
It is my opinion that Anastasiaweb.com and it various clone sites do suffer from a bad reputation in the market and are generally considered an unethical operation bordering on fraud. Most of the complaints about Anastasiaweb.com have to do with fake correspondence that subscribers must pay to read. Most users report posting a profile and being inundated with dozens, if not hundreds, of letters from beautiful Russian women expressing their interest in them. The man must pay to read each email message he reads from the women. Basically there is a profit motive for affiliated agencies to send bogus email messages to the men that have registered with the Anastasiaweb.com service. I think there is also a profit motive for the owner of Anastasiaweb.com to allow this to continue contrary to what Anastasiaweb.com claims in their PR literature. Apparently there is a lawsuit in the works that will set the record straight one way or another. As for me, I have chosen not to list or promote Anastasiaweb.com on my website because I do not wish to be associated with a company that has one of the worst reputations in the International Introduction Service industry.

Just remember birds of a feather flock together. Why would such a reputable company associate it self with a company with such a bad reputation? Money that why? This shows their integrity.

I do not agree with that!
I visited a lot of dating sites and see no reason why this one is called a scam!!
A great place for finding a match. I used to be the member of their - a really amazing place for one who's involved in dating FSU women! Got a lot of experienced guys, who are willing to help you no matter what you problem is!
Thanks to them, I'm in Russia now and my wedding is coming in three weeks!
So, I will never believe that this site is a scam!

Fiance.com is a scam
The only thing fiance.com does is allow any marriage agency that wants to participate to join and then the site charges its members. There is no such thing as scam proof. Too many of these sites are scams. But, that affects those countries.

fiance.com is a scam site
theodora,
you are 100% correct.
fiance.com is another scam site.
why?
first of all it is a business and every business needs to make money.
So what is the bread and butter of marriage agencies??????
ANSWER, Letters, letters and more letters..
This is where all the marriage agencies make most of their income from..
The only difference with fiance.com is you only pay per month and not per letter like the majority of them..
why do i say that fiance.com is a scam?
Because i have a profile on the site and i was receiving a lot of invitation letters from women, one woman told me that she was going back to America on a student exchange program and was hoping to meet a nice man over there for relationship and i thought, why tell me?, I'm not an American!
Another woman told me that she likes my profile and that we have similar interests. So i checked what i had written and guess what?.. I had nothing written down as hobbies or interests..
Another reason why fiance.com is another letter writing site is because, once i received a huge amount of letters in my mail box one day, 4 letters from Elenas' in a row, 4 letters from Annas' in a row, 4 letters from anatasias', etc..and that is just impossible..
The moderator woman on the site encourages men not to pay per letter with these type of agencies, but on the desk top page of fiance.com is where the pay per letter agencies enter...
QUESTION:
What is the difference between a scammer, a gold digger, a serial dater and a dishonest agency?
ANSWER: The spelling.
And don't go by jim's agency scams either. even though what he says about the bad agencies is correct, but what happens is, gold rated agencies are affiliated with black rated agencies..
EXAMPLE:
1st. international marriage network had a woman on there who had 3 different profiles and was logging into all 3....2 profiles, she was a christian, the other profile she was an atheist and now she is listed with AFA, profile # 104159..this woman is nothing more then a letter writer, a scammer, a waste of money--your money.
Here is another woman who asked for money from a man and when the money arrived, she disappeared out of town only to turn up years later in Nikolaev and she is with AFA. Her profile on 1st. international is #1000045141 and yet she is listed with AFA..So there you have the gold and the black list.

fiance.com is a good site
sickofscammers,
I am not sure which agency you work for. I have used fiance.com for 3 years and now I am happily married to a girl I met on fiance.com
Fiance.com is normal dating site, get membership and communicate. They do not ask you to pay per letters, agencies in the system are not getting paid per letter. You pay one membership and you can communicate without any limits. nobody removes personal info from messages. I used to get private emails al the time and started writing outside the site. so stop this negative lies.
fiance.com has a very good forum as somebody has already mentioned it here. read it.it helps not to get scammed in online dating games

Guilt by association
I think they get their bad rap because of their association with Anastasia Date, formerly Anastasia International, formerly Anastasia Web, formerly Russianbrides.com
One question I would have, they don’t seem like they are IMBRA Compliant?

fiance.com is a scam site
Fiance.com has It's own forum that it controls. So long as you don't blackmouth Fiance.com you can say anything about other sites and it will be allowed.
Fiance.com tells people don't use pay-per-letter agencies when in fact these agencies are affiliated with Fiance.com.
I had a profile on that site, some days i would receive 30-50 letters enter my mailbox in a single day.
Some of these women were on 1st. International and I once had a profile on that site too, funny thing was, all letters from the same woman on both Fiance.com and 1st. International were the same.
And 1st. International is affiliated with AFA.
Just recently, Olga, the administrator lady, even promotes her own site for men to use.
People can blackmouth sites like Anastasia Web, 1st. International marriage network, army of brides, etc, etc, etc, But all these agencies have the same women listed as what Fiance.com have.
To reply to sam123 who thinks Fiance is a great site, men have stated on forums that they have married a woman on Anastasia Web and dream marriage.com also.
I wonder if they were a spokesperson for that agency?????
And you??????

Scammers
My advice to all of you in one word. MYSPACE. That nips a lot of money and energy/heartbreak right of the equation. Screw the agencies, their not getting any more of my money--$8 letters, pushing me to buy gifts, 'translation services', subscriptions, NO PERSONAL CONTACT INFO..psssh no thank you! Through my experiences talking to these ladies on the regular ol myspace, they are indeed a bit more frank and honest and do seem to have a general interest in American men. They do on occasion admit that Russian/Ukrainian men make terrible partners for a few different reasons. As for the women, they wont always necessarily have the values that they are 'famous' for, but you certainly wont be wasting tons of money corresponding, thus...nothing lost if she bails. One thing of note...I am 25 and in good shape/health/self esteem and a pretty good looking guy by most standards. So maybe that's in my favor and why I can use an avenue like myspace. Like many of us who are younger and decent looking, we just don't like American women, regardless of the fact that we can still meet them/have a relationship with them. I belong to that group; date/have sex with Americans, (only because distance is convenient)...just dont marry them; their values for serious relationships are all screwed up and love creating double standards. I know how to separate my women; you're not going to put a sprinter in a marathon runner's shoes, are you?
On myspace, I met this girl Anna (Anya), 22 yrs old, several months ago in the summer of '09. Big/intense aqua blue eyes, dark brown hair (shes a natural dirty-blond though) pretty tall-- maybe about 5'7" 120 lbs--big tits (which she's allowed me the pleasure of seeing many times..lord have mercy!), great figure to say the least. Best of all, funny as all hell and has TONS of personality (WAY more than any girl I've met since my last girlfriend, who I almost married). Not saying Anna is perfect, she is a bit of partier (I am too on occasion) but we are compatible on many levels and make a great couple...its like I met a female version of me, good and bad. I noticed how loyal she is too, I've never seen her turn her back on the situation regardless of how much effort it takes to keep it going.
Anyways, on the first day we met, she invited me on Skype video chat, and being nervous, neither of us spoke (she wasn't sure of her English in front of me at that point and maybe embarrassed). But after maybe 2 or three times, she really opened up and I found out how good her English she is, once I coaxed it out and made her feel comfortable. We'd stay up very late (the sun would be rising through her kitchen and blue-black in mine) talking about everything, laughing about everything. She still goes to college quarterly, and excels in our language. We email each other (we both have gmail) every couple of days, sends me photos of some of the events she goes to, and I send her mine. She and I are saving up on plans of her making it here in summer before she goes back to work, so we can see how everything will feel together, I'm pretty excited about it because its been a while since I've been stimulated by anyone so completely. She calls me on the phone from time to time, when she has enough money to, to have a few laughs while she walks her dog. We have an 8 hour difference between St. Petersburg RU and Atlanta, so I'm just waking up when her day is in full swing already, and by 5 o clock I can see her eyes starting to get heavy (again, we video chat on skype) as she is wrapped up in her cartoon sheets her mom got her.
There's been a lot of joy having her to connect with definitely and I believe I have gone into the important stuff (minus the x rated), and I do believe I have found someone who is there for me on several levels, Anna is ultra supportive. So, all I can say is....MYSPACE.

Part of a network of rip-off site's. The women are all being paid by the con artist's. You will never be offered real contact information for the girl. There is always an excuse for why they can't give you this information. I travel to Ukraine all the time as i was married to a Odessa girl for 12 years. We recently divorced as friends and i wanted to start a few chats for future meetings. What a Scam therse idiots put together. You know they are run by Russian men because an American man would run it much smarter and more profitable than these idiots. I mean they should give you contact information as promised. Than it would be up to you to put it all together or not. STUPID, IDIOT WORTHLESS, RUSSIAN BUSINESSMAN. THAT IS WHY THERE COUNTRY IS A SHITHOLE AND WILL BE FOR 1000 YEARS...

scam agencies
Most of the scam agencies circusstorm mentions, are owned and run by American business people Not Russian business people.
It's the American mentality that has caused most of the problems.
Example.
The agency people say they don't pay the women for letters.
They can look you in the eye and say this BUT what they won't say is, they pay the interpreter par letter and then SHE pays the woman.
This is why the interpreter will try to keep you corresponding longer.
Thats how the scam works.
Don't go by what agencyscams.com say about the ' gold' rated sites.
The 'gold' rated sited sites have paid for it.
Jim is a fake who is making money.
So there you have your American mentality.
"Anything for a buck"

ANASTASIADATE.COM ARE THE BIGGEST SCUMBAGS EVER!
I have lost my lady friend and possible future wife because of ANASTASIADATE.COM and I am furious!!!
I found out that AnastasiaDate.com has demanded that all agencies in Russia and Ukraine delete their ladies’ profiles from ALL other dating websites, including hanuma.net, dream-marriage.com, hotrussianbrides.com and etc. Ladies profiles are being forcefully deleted and they are losing their right to have a free choice to be registered on different dating websites to broaden their chance to find love and destiny. They are treating women like their property and local agencies as slaves. This is against all human rights! AnastasiaDate.com does not care about people’s lives and helping people to find love, ALL they care about is MONEY and MONEY only!

fiance.com
If the girl is not willing to give you a private email she is a faker getting paid for each letter she writes you.
Try the moms who have been registered a while and the ones who are honestly writing you more than you write them.
If they resist emails on the basis that translator programs don't work blow them off because their own translator program is garbage.
I really did get 15 dollars of entertainment out of them though.
I will most likely pay to talk to a few moms who write me back more than I write them just for the fun of it. They don't pressure me to video chat them like the phonies.
I have also noticed profile photos in older accounts start out again as new accounts. Don't believe their new girls list.
My advice... Save your money and time and call an escort agency and pay for a real woman you are guaranteed success with.
I am sure that many of the forum posers are fakes as well.
I could go on and on about the red flags at fiance.com

fiance.com
To reply to Nay, you would either have to work for fiance.com or be a complete idiot to not realize that the site is a scam. Even the part where they say some women are independent is a scam. Yes, try to get a response from even one independent and see what happens vs. Ecupid where you will get many responses from real women. I heard from a psychologist working in Ukraine that she did investigation and anastasia and fiance.com both use college students to write fake letters and string people along.

fiance
my experience with fiance is that they want to make money, if you give email, facebook or skype contact you come hardly in contact with them, in my case not one until now. I suppose they are forced by the agency to do so that you endlessly pay subscription or they even don t exist and an old man is sitting at the computer writing love emails. this is especially my impression if me, an old man, gets many love emails from 18 year old girls. my impression is that ll dating is more serious, there you can have other contact outside the agency, also desktop dating you get direct contact
the worst is anastasia, just a money machine, they don t react if you want to contact them outside the agency
also the style of the mails is outside any realistic assessment of what is a relation between man and woman, it is like from a soap opera
another stupidity are so called love tours: just book a flight and go to kiev, there are plenty of hotels, call the girl, you can use some student as translator if necessary or use google translator in a wlan coffee bar if the girl speaks some english
